Kaitlyn Young

Education and Experience:

This is my first year at SES and i am so excited for this new adventure. I hold Bachelors of Science in K-6 Education and a Bachelors of Art in Music from the University of Tennessee at Martin. I taught 8 years in Tennessee before making the move to Mississippi. I have taught 3rd grade ELA, 4th grade all subjects, and spent 7 years as an elementary music teacher. Math has always been my favorite subject so I am so excited to be teaching Math and Science to my students.

When not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 kids Liam (2) and Avery Jane (9 months). I am also a cat lover and enjoy playing with my cats Captain and Ollie.
