I am honored to serve as the principal of Southaven Elementary. I have been in DeSoto County since 2008 and with my wife and 3 children. I am excited to pour myself into this year, partnering with you to reach our students and see them grow.

Our staff at Southaven Elementary will work alongside you to provide a safe and positive learning environment as we work toward a growth mindset and will work hard to provide an educational experience that will focus on academic, social, and emotional growth.

Our mission is to develop lifelong learners in an environment that promotes academic excellence. We believe to accomplish this mission, we must be focused on creating and cultivating positive relationships with students, parents, and the community of Southaven.

I am so excited to serve as assistant principal at Southaven Elementary. I received my Bachelor’s in Middle-Level Education and Master’s in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

I have had the opportunity to teach and serve as an administrator in preschool through twelfth grade in Arkansas and Mississippi. By working together with staff, students, and parents, I know we can create a positive culture with high expectations to develop lifelong learners.
